ChinoChinako is the alias of Jeannette ChinoChinako, a cosplayer and self-proclaimed geek. She is an award winning costume designer who has specialized in cosplay for over the past two decades. You can find her cosplay collective online at http://ChinoChinako.com. Beyond winning awards, her cosplay has also been published in books sold world-wide. In September and October of 2016, Jeannette worked with gaming giant Ubisoft to help promote WATCH_DOGS 2 while cosplaying as Sitara Dhawan, the leader of the DedSec hacking group from the video game. She also worked with Ubisoft again in November 2017 to celebrate the games’ first year anniversary. In 2019, she began working with Ubisoft on promoting Watch Dogs Legion which was released in October 2020.

Jeannette is a positive force within the cosplay community offering sewing and crafting assistance to anyone who asks. She makes nearly everything from scratch, measuring twice and cutting once. Her favorite part of crafting is creating the little accessories–beaded designs, earrings, carefully painted pieces, etc. She loves simple cosplay that incorporate a lot of little details! Jeannette hopes to continue to breathe life into her favorite characters for a long time to come.
