Why I chose this costume:

My neighbor commissioned me to make Itachi’s cloak for her son who is a huge fan of the series. I was happy to comply.

How I made this costume:

The cloak is altered from a Halloween costume of a reaper. I removed the hood and added a collar with scraps of black and red fabric. I stiffened it with Polyfil and then cut the front of the cloak to have the correct shape. I used red ribbon for the trim down the front of the cloak and machine sewed the red clouds in bold white top stitching. I used many references to make sure I got the shape and placement of the clouds just right.

Thoughts on this costume:

After I dropped off the cloak, he tried it on and loved it! He wore it to several Halloween parties and other events surrounding Halloween. His mom was also very pleased with my work.
